Mr. Kirk,
While we have not really stayed in touch much (I know that we both live fun-filled, adventurous lives), I want you to know how important to you are to me, my family, and the people I work with.

Your thoughts help me to be a better person, they help the staff as I often times will forward your thoughts and stories along, and they help my family because they help me. We can go through life and be on idle or autopilot, or we can actively pursue the goal of being a better co-worker, family member, father, spouse, or person.

I should have sent this email last year (and the year before that). I didn’t want to regret the things left undone.
Happy Holidays to you and your family,
Bill Beerman

My sixth grade teacher Mrs. Anderson put it simply: “Bored people are boring people.” – I’ve made that comment to my 8 year old son recently when he came to me with “I’m bored”, I’m not certain he entirely “gets it” yet, but he will. ~ Machele Jones
