Avoiding “unanimity” Every Day
Read, every day, something no one else is reading.
Think, every day, something no one else is thinking.
Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do.
It is bad for the mind to be always part of unanimity.  - Christopher Morley
I had to look up unanimity to be sure I knew what it meant!

There is something to be said for “best practices.” But there is nothing wrong with doing something differently - even though everyone else has always done something in one way. Unless we take risks and think beyond our paradigms, we will never innovate into the future.

While I agree completely, I would add. Better to be Reading, Thinking and Doing something that everyone else is Reading, Thinking and Doing than Reading, Thinking and Doing nothing.
