Thank you so much for sharing this. I am a Girl Scout leader and this weekend my nine girls are bridging to Cadettes. I was looking for a story to share with them that showed the importance of selflessness, fairness, helpfulness, courage, responsibility of actions, respecting others, making the world a better place or being a sister to other girls. This story contains all of that and more. (Almost all of them play softball).

Hi Kirk,
A true case of class and sportsmanship, especially when you consider that the teams were arch rivals, and the home run was the game-winning run. What a lift — literally.
Thanks for what you do. Keep ‘em coming.
