INvolve and INspire - it’s what leaders DO
Leadership is understanding people and involving them to help you do a job. That takes all of the good characteristics, like integrity, dedication of purpose, selflessness, knowledge, skill, implacability, as well as determination not to accept failure.
- Admiral Arleigh A. Burke
Lead and inspire people. Don’t try to manage and manipulate people. Inventories can be managed but people must be lead. - Ross Perot
I want to involve and inspire you! Please join with me in my mission to help inspire more initiative and awaken the inner leaders of our sleepwalking world. If you have read my book, THE DOG POOP INITIATIVE then you can help! Read on…
I want to collect a fresh batch of testimonials from folks like you who have read it, who love it, and who have used it inspire initiative and change in your world of work and play. My goal is to add at least 2 full pages of these testimonials for the next printing. The examples on the back of your current copy or from the inside of any business book can serve as models (if needed).Â
Please include your title and Business name if you are allowed to do so. Â If you are not sure (forgiveness is better than permission)Â Or you could just ask your HR or Legal personnel which will help them feel important, needed and give them the opportunity to appear as if they are allowing you a special privilege. Â
If you are willing, able or even anxious to do this…There are 2 ways to do so.  1) Just go to www.kirkweisler.com/t4d and post a comment to the most recent blog. 2) Send your Dog Poop Initiative Book testimonial directly to me at kirk@kirkweisler.com with the word Testimonial in the subject line.

Kirk blew me away when I heard him deliver this story at a conference - I loved the message, the book and the drawings and hand it out liberally to all I meet! Kirk does truly change lives - he changed mine! ~Margaret Daniels, IT Help Desk Manager, Department for Transport, UK

I love the book Dad! It has helped our family do better in taking the initiative. Seeing all of the thousands of other people who have read it and who are using it to make a difference and inspire Scoopership has made me want to write a book too!
I’m proud of you Dad.

Scooping has never been so right!, August 2, 2007 -By Randal Rupert -
Creative, witty and spot on! The message resonates with toddlers to grand-parents. Open your mind and this little gem will change your attitude, actions, and your children’s lives.
I’m looking forward to the next book in what I hope becomes a series of similar (soon to be) classics.

One day, as I was Googling the word “poop” for a birthday banner I was creating for a colleague, I stumbled across Kirk’s “Dog Poop Initiative” book. Ever since this fortunate discovery, Kirk has made a difference in my life in so many joyful ways. I soon signed up for the T4D and it was AMAZING the WISDOM that seemed to arrive in my email precisely WHEN I needed to hear it the most. However, I digress, back to the poop…
I decided that because of the lack of kitchen people-cleaning-up-after-themselves situation at work, that this would be the perfect answer for our upcoming employee meeting. Faster than ten fast things, I quickly shot off an email to Kirk, requesting a Power Point presentation version of this very book to show everyone at our meeting. Gitte Hagensen, Executive Vice President of EXHAUSTO, Inc. loved the idea and did a fabulous job presenting the poo book to the group.
That was over a year ago and I can say that I notice a fantastic difference around here! We even had Kirk come out to our office to inspire us even more. And although before he arrived the idea of having a “team-builder” was met with the usual office doldrum moans and groans, I can DEFINITELY say, that after he left, the entire group was engaged and happy that they had participated!
A BIG FAT THANK YOU to Kirk Weisler and his Dog Poop Initiative!
THANK YOU KIRK!
